Initiatives by SMEs and large regional companies highlighted
In the Web-SME Technology Development category, the award was won by the Regroupement des pêcheurs professionnels du Sud de la Gaspésie. The association represents the economic and social interests of the region’s professional fishermen. Since 2015, the Regroupement has been developing an electronic logbook called JOBEL. This is fast becoming an essential tool for collecting data and tracking seafood products in Atlantic Canada.
