Nearly 500 fishermen have adopted the Jobel electronic logbook

Gaspésie fishermen are at the cutting edge of technology thanks to an electronic logbook that makes it easy to record daily catches.

The Regroupement des pêcheurs professionnels du sud de la Gaspésie (RPPSG) has just won an award for the development of this technology at the latest Mercuriades gala, organised by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec.

Jobel’s software, which was launched in 2015, works from any mobile device.
